Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Everyone loves stickers. Stickers have served as rewards, symbols of motivation, outlets for self-expression, and imagination for our elementary students. We will continue to empower them to explore their creativity freely, experiment with colors, and bring their unique ideas to life through stickers.

By providing them with an eco-friendly printer, they will learn about conserving resources by reducing the overall consumption of ink and paper which contributes to a more sustainable printing process.

This printer design also reduces the amount of plastic waste generated from disposable cartridges, because the ink tanks can be refilled with ink bottles, which reduces the number of cartridges that end up in landfills.

Sticker-making activities offers educational benefits beyond art.

It promotes fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, STEM concepts, and critical thinking as students conceptualize, design, and produce their stickers. The goal of our project is to invest in the future of our students, empowering them to become confident, environmental consciousness, innovative thinkers.
