Eco-Friendly Color Printer For Students With Intellectual Disabilities

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students prefer working with printed handouts. Our classroom currently relies on an old, inefficient, temperamental black-and-white printer that requires costly ink cartridges which will end up in landfills for centuries.
Having an eco-friendly, cartridge-free color printer will provide our students with vivid and engaging activities at a lower cost and reduced footprint.
The printer will be helpful with creating color centers to use during small group activities. It will also enable me to create various visual aids, charts, activities, and assignments for my students. Planning and preparing activities will be more efficient and cost-effective as well.
