This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Help us experience the world one ecosystem at a time! Our science classroom is a place where we allowed to explore and observe. We want to learn about the various ecosystems around the world. Please help us make this possible!

I service the entire population of my school, which is K1-5, about 275 students, part of which are autistic students.

I find that at this age level students love science, especially when it involves models or other hands-on equipment. Our students are eager learners, explorers and little scientists!

My Project

Having a riverbank ecosystem in the science classroom will allow for the entire school population to experience something new. They will record observations, learn about the plants and animals that live in this ecosystem. This ecosystem will also correlate to multiple units of study across all grade levels, which will help enrich their learning.
