Echo Helping Robots!

My students need a mobile storage unit for our robotics team and a amazon echo to help set reminders for our club!

My Students

My students come from low income backgrounds. They do not have the opportunity to experience very much technology outside of the classroom. I have made it a goal of mine to introduce as much technology as possible to them so they may have a well rounded education prior to entering the real world as young adults.

My students love hands on activities and projects.

About 90% of my class is project based learning. This creates enthusiasm in the classroom and allows students to learn through experiences and not just direct instruction.

My Project

We are using a Echo Dot to help set reminders and timers for our robotics club. We hope to use the timer to simulate competition robotics settings. The Echo Dot can also set reminders for us to help us stay on task.

We will be using the mobile storage to put our robot and tools in to travel to competitions.

We will use this storage unit to stay organized and mobile for various competitions throughout the years to come. Being organized for competitions is crucial to success. Transporting extra tools will also help us in making last second adjustments to our robot.
