Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This school year has been a heavy year of researched based learning. The students have engaged in researching topics such as famous African American poets from history, wild and interesting animals from around the world as well as famous African American and activists throughout history who have fought for the rights on groups who have experienced inequality over the years. They have engaged in these topics to a degree that allows them to consistently have questions about the world around them. We have noticed that scholars often pose questions during instruction that the teachers did not think about which shows us that our students are making connections! Having these amazon Echo Dots will allow our students to work in groups and ask questions that they generate while engaging in collaborative discussion with one another!
