My Project

Our school days are rigorous, even in third grade. My students are hard workers, so they get hungry after using all of that brain power. We eat an early lunch, so the afternoons can get long.

My students often need a nutrition break in the afternoon.

Having snacks on hand will help my student focus. It's difficult to learn when you have an empty stomach. Ritz crackers, granola bars, and applesauce pouches will provide a quick pick-me-up during our afternoon lull. It is also helpful to have snacks on hand for students that miss breakfast.
