My Students

My ELA grade 7/8 students are the best in the world! Everyday they have to deal with all that comes with being Autistic. They are brave and excited about life and the opportunities it has to offer them. They love to learn and want to succeed.

My students thrive in an environment where they feel safe and have a routine.

My goal is to continue to make my students feel safe, secure and well educated.

My Project

I encourage my students to read for 20 mins every day and for two years now students have been asking me for specific book titles to read and we just have not been able to afford to purchase them.

I am hoping that with your help we can get these books and my students will enjoy their reading time.

You will notice snacks are included in my project. I find when a student is hungry, that is all that they can think about! Let's stave off those hunger pangs with a small snack.
