This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Isn't it a great feeling to walk into a room you know has just been freshly cleaned? Being able to sit on a newly vacuumed rug, or walk on a nicely cleaned floor is, unfortunately, a luxury we don't have in these days of budget cuts. With the custodial staff being down to the bare minimum, everyone on campus has had to pitch in to keep the school clean. However, the basic supplies to do this task are just not at our disposal. Your donation will change that.
Having a vacuum in our classroom will allow us to clean up daily instead of the once a week (or two) that the one custodian is able to do.
We will be able to clean our own floors a few times a day, keeping our workspace free of dirt and dust. Cleaning the computer space with the vacuum will also help to keep our technology working. Having such a clean environment will ensure that all students are healthy and ready to learn. It will allow us to keep our focus on the task at hand, instead of the leaf-covered floor and dirty rug.
Your donation will provide us with a clean environment in which to learn. You will help us to keep our focus on the learning, and not the dust. You will help us, with the donation of a vacuum, to stay healthy, strong and present in school. After all, a clean environment is a productive environment!
