Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Storage bins give my students a sense of ownership of our classroom materials and supplies which helps grow sharing skills.

Sorting items into labeled bins teaches children organizational skills and responsibility for maintaining their space.

A tidy room creates a calm atmosphere which helps support emotional regulation and develops collaboration among all the students.

Using bins to pre-set materials for lessons allows students to get what they need quickly and maximize instructional times throughout the day. Having these bins will foster smoother and interactive transitions from one activity to another.
