My Students

What do you think of when you remember Algebra 1 class? Hopefully, it brings back great memories of hands-on learning, exploring mathematics, and building ideas about logic and problem-solving. This is my goal for any student who is immersed in my class for Algebra 1.

In my class, the learners are constantly building on their mathematical foundation and finding new ways to think about and do math.

They are learning new and exciting styles and pulling on the traditional styles to understand why math is the way it is and how it can be applied to their own lives.

Many of my students have never gotten to see math in a light outside of worksheets and inapplicable nonsense, and I hope that this year and every year after I can show them how interesting and fun math can be.

My Project

These materials are a small but mighty starter pack to provide resources for my students. Teachers Pay Teachers offers a variety of awesome resources, including supplemental materials, curriculums, engaging activities, and classroom decorations. By being able to purchase from teacher-made resources, I have access to so many high-quality materials that will absolutely be used time and time again in my class. By also receiving a printer, I will be able to print any paper resources necessary. This may include decorations for my classroom, resources for myself (such as class lists or grading sheets), and resources for my students (such as classroom materials, letters, reference sheets, etc.).
