This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school is more than 100 years old and our furniture has given its best life.

Most of our furniture has fallen apart or is no longer safe for my students.

Our large carpet has been shampooed many times but the lifelong stains do not come off anymore.

The large carpet will be placed in the front of the classroom and used as a gathering place during mini-lessons and share time. The organizational cubicles will be placed in the back of our classroom and will help the Reading and Math centers run smoothly from day to day.

The donations to this project will help improve my student's understanding of and competency in authentic, meaningful Reading and Math lessons.
