Easter Island Experience

My Project

Near the end of the school year I send out a survey to my future 7th graders. This is a simple questionnaire that allows them to tell me what they would like to learn about in social studies.

Many students wanted to learn about Easter Island.

Having a class set of the book "Where is Easter Island?" will be helpful for read aloud lessons as well as quiet reading. This style of book has large words and many pictures and maps that help engage students and break up the chunks of reading. We would also like a large Easter Island head statue for photo opportunities.
