Help me give my students a magnetic easel, magnetic tiles, magnetic marble runners, magnetic people figures, & magnetic gears to support their learning of cause & effect, gross motor development, and hands-on math & science learning.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Hands-on games can attract pre-k students to math & science learning. Please help me get my students an easel and magnetic toys to attract them like magnets. Materials like the easel support gross motor development as students must stand (and cross the midline) to engage in play. The magnet tiles, marble runners, and gears will help students build neural pathways in the brain that support cognitive development & spatial reasoning.
Play is essential to supporting early childhood students' metacognition; with your donations, we can get my students the materials they need to play, learn, and think about what they learn in cause and effect!
Learning about cause & effect with magnet tiles and marble runners is going to give students the hands-on experience to learn that every action has a specific reaction.
