This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As an ELL teacher, I work with students who are English Language Learners.
As such, we do lots of shared writing pieces which allows my students to learn the English Language faster and more proficiently.
Using a dry-erase easel allows my students to come together and write together.
In my classroom, we also do a lot of word building with magnetic letters. Having an easel that is also magnetic and easy to move around the classroom will allow for my small groups to work together to learn letters and sounds to build words!
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
