My fifth graders come to school excited and ready to learn. The mornings can be hectic because we start right away with breakfast and morning work. This easel will be the "homebase" for our mornings to start together.
One side will be a spot for students to read a message about their upcoming day and sign in, the other will be used for reviewing our writing and math morning work activities.
Right now, our morning message and morning work boards are separate and it is a little more complicated for students to see everything about their morning all at once. This easel will be a tool to simplify our mornings and have everything we need all in one place.
