Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My students and I have been so blessed by the generosity of donors through DonorsChoose. We recently received a beautiful easel so that I may teach with more interaction from my students. It's all working beautifully, but at this point, we are itching for some supplies to make our work together even more enticing. We are in need of more dry erase markers so that all of us may have a chance to write on the easel. We also would like some magnetic monies, letters, numbers and the like to place on the board. In addition to these items, my low-income Latino learning community would really benefit from some phonics games that could be used as a class to enhance learning English. My future first graders would really benefit from more interactive learning opportunities that could be facilitated by such games. Thank you for your consideration and supporting my students!
