My students are an exceptionally busy, bright and active group of youngsters from various backgrounds. They love to learn and play and especially read. As with many of our students today, the technology based applications are their preferred choice of instruction, but they love colors as well and a chance to express their unique personalities and creativity every chance they get. Many of my students lack the basics at home like books and school supplies that other students have so making sure that these resources are available to them in the classroom increases their chance to be successful and build a brighter future.
The Privacy partitions help alleviate the concern of others knowing if their answer is right or wrong and decreases the likelihood of copying or talking during formal assessments. Even in Kindergarten, students are aware of the importance of using their own knowledge during testing.
Using the Alphabetical File Folder games during literacy centers will allow up to ten students a chance to target the letters that they are having the most difficulty learning in a fun and engaging manner.
Two groups will be able to utilize these games during one center creating less transition within the classroom and more efficient learning.
