My Project

Give my students items to give them peace and comfort through stim. Our school is focusing on "soft starts" this school year. This allows time for students' brains to settle in for maximum learning potential.

Providing students with a soft start to the days sets them up for success.

Providing items such as magnetic blocks, floor pillows and sensory balls allows for the necessary stimulation a soft start provides. A soft start allows for more choice, creativity, and engagement as students arrive each morning. The items for this project allow for this learning potential.
