My Students

My students are wonderful people who want to be capable, confident, and contributing. They want to be successful and do great things. Honestly, they are struggling.

My students are struggling with all the gaps in learning that the COVID-19 pandemic has created.

My students feel disconnected, anxious, and depressed. Mental illness has become a huge challenge in the last few years of teaching.

I need to create excitement, engagement, and connection to each other and the real world. I need them to be able to successfully problem solve in my class so they feel able to problem solve in their own lives.

My Project

My students are tired of technology, online learning and demonstrations. They want the chance to do labs and explore science. Budgets are tight, and resources are limited. I am looking for opportunities to bring the excitement, fun, engagement and inquiry back to my classroom. I can make science come alive, I just need the resources.

These science lab kits will provide weeks of labs for my plate tectonics unit.

It is a standard that crosses many grades and can be cross-curricular. Please help me bring Earth Science to life for my students.
