This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With your help, our wonderful class will talk about Earth Day and the importance of plants on our planet. I want students to understand that plants are very important for our survival, supplying us with oxygen and keeping our air clean. The class will plant seeds, observe proper growing environments, and create a project to reflect their results. We will conduct experiment with planting, observing the parts of a plant and examining the reactions to different growing environments. We will also dissect seeds and study what the job is of each part of the plant.
