Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students and I would love to be able to start growing plants in our classroom. We have started to learn about taking care of the environment and would love to be able to plant our own seeds and watch them grow. Students would love to plant flowers and herbs for our school reading garden and for plants they can later plant in their own garden. We are asking for lots of planting pots to help start planting flowers to learn about the process of their growth as well as help the climate and environment by planting more plants. We are also requesting terra cotta pots that students can paint with their own Earth Day designs. Please help us help the environment.
