This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As earth day approaches, we are trying to be more conscious of how we can teach our young students the importance of caring for our earth. We teach young students a new concept or skill through story, play and then by doing.

We will teach through stories with these great books about earth.

We will teach through play with these cool recycle and garbage trucks. And we will teach by doing with recycle bins around the classroom. Surprisingly, recycle bins are not offered in our school and we must use our classroom funds to purchase those if we want them. This project would give us official recycle bins!
