This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
What I love most about my scholars is their commitment to the classroom and eagerness to learn.
From the moment scholars step into the classroom they transform into scientist ready to explore the unknown.
Each day brings new exciting content they will carry to and through college. This project is to each collectively plant vegetables and herbs in the classroom. Through this project scholars will learn how to plant, and observe the life cycles of plants. The clear pot will make observations much easier and the markers will be used to label and decorate their plants.
My goal for this project is to teach scholars not only the life cycles of plants but also teach them how to grow their own food!
