This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Funding an Earth Day craft allows students to learn about our planet while having fun. The activity I have planned will allow students to see their milk cartons in a whole new way. Students will save their milk cartons after they have lunch, I will rinse and dry them. Afterwards we will decorate the outside of the carton. Students will be given paper and paint to design their milk carton with the things they have learned about Earth Day. Once they decorate the milk cartons we will add soil and seeds. Fortunately the classroom has large windows with plenty of sunlight. The seeds will sprout in no time!
