Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Teaching children about nature and our earth from a young age helps them develop a sense of responsibility and passion for the world around them. It lays the groundwork growing children will need to understand the scientific issues that will affect them throughout their lives.

Educating young minds is the most powerful catalyst for change.

As we teach students the importance of taking care of the environment, we teach them that they are the future that will preserve the earth and land which we live on. Education is very powerful when it is engaging and enjoyable!

This project is designed to get students excited about learning about the environment. Students will be able to design a rock to inspire others to take care of the earth, they will plant their own lavender seed and watch it grow, and encourage others to show love to the earth by reading books about our planet. The shelving unit will be used to store students science kits to keep them motivated to care for our Earth.
