This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students love being scientists. The students have role-played in science being Meteorologists, Archeologists, and other scientists. In the last part of the year, the students will study ecosystems.

The students are going to take on the role of Ecologists.

The goal for the students is to have supplemental resources, share additional materials, and cite their resources while writing a report about the ecosystems.

My students are excited to learn about the different studies and fields science offers. Role-playing brings all learners together to learn the concept. It allows different entry points into the lesson being taught. It also allows students to collaboratively work together throughout the task.
