My Students
My students are so excited to start getting hands-on STEAM experiences in our new Innovation Lab. We will delve into 3D printing, robotics, and programming, as well as many other hands-on projects. It is so fun to watch their faces light up when they see the results of their own creations.
The students are curious and creative, imaginative and innovative.
I love hearing their new ideas. We are a diverse school with many cultures and languages, and STEAM experiences are great at bringing everyone together for a common goal.
My Project
Our students can earn "money" and rewards through classroom jobs, as well as for good behavior, and turning in all assignments on time. They also have to spend a certain portion of that money on "rent" to the classroom, but the remaining funds or rewards can be used to purchase items, such as special moments with the teacher or principal, treats or privileges.
One of these items they may purchase with their earnings or rewards is extra time in the Innovation Lab with the LEGO WeDo Education sets.
They may come in during lunch to build models and explore different projects within the WeDo curriculum.
