My Students
My students are so excited to start getting hands-on STEAM experiences in our new Innovation Lab. We will delve into 3D printing, robotics, and programming, as well as many other hands-on projects. It is so fun to watch their faces light up when they see the results of their own creations.
The students are curious and creative, imaginative and innovative.
I love hearing their new ideas. We are a diverse school with many cultures and languages, and STEAM experiences are great at bringing everyone together for a common goal.
My Project
Our students can earn "money" through classroom jobs, as well as for good behavior, and turning in all assignments on time. They also have to spend a certain portion of that money on "rent" to the classroom, but the remaining funds can be used to purchase items, such as special moments with the teacher or principal, treats or privileges.
One of these items they may purchase with their earnings is the ability to use the Cricut in the Innovation Lab to create a custom item.
The heat press will give the students the opportunity to create custom t-shirts, tote bags and other items that they can purchase with their classroom earnings.
