This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

For the 2025-2026 school year, I’m teaching in a new setting, and I’m committed to creating a positive, supportive classroom culture from day one.

In our classroom, we celebrate more than just academic success — we recognize and uplift respect, effort, kindness, and responsibility.

To help reinforce these values, I’m developing a rewards system designed to motivate students to grow as both learners and leaders. This program will encourage positive choices and boost engagement, confidence, and collaboration. As part of this system, students can earn meaningful incentives — such as the use of headphones for well-deserved breaks, giving them a chance to recharge in a way that supports their focus and emotional regulation.

Additionally, laminating pouches will be used to create durable, reusable incentive charts that help track and celebrate progress in a visual, personalized way. These tools will make our rewards system more effective and long-lasting.

Your support will help bring this vision to life, creating a classroom where every student feels valued, motivated, and inspired to do their best every day.
