My Project

Working in a preschool classroom is important to build the foundational skills used in future grade levels. I am requesting various counters related to both the curriculum themes and student interests. There are fish, ocean animals, farm animals, shapes, and a categorizing game. This one is more of a challenge game where students will look at the white shape and figure out which item or object matches it like a puzzle. It will require a higher level of understanding to complete and will work for a few of my students who already know how to sort by color and understand how to do puzzles. The counters will challenge my students to sort by animal and not 1 specific color. This is also a step above sorting by a single color. I love to challenge my students with hands-on activities and these supplies will do that while intriguing their interest by getting supplies they enjoy.
