This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Having these resources available in my classroom will have a huge impact in how I teach my phonics lessons. The beginning sound tubs and the alphabet books are great resources that can be used when teaching the alphabet. These materials will provide great visuals to my students as well as build vocabulary. My students will enjoy being able to look and touch each of the materials included in the beginning sound tubs. It will definitely make my phonics lessons more meaningful to my students. Both of these resources will help my students think of words that start with the focus letter when creating our circle maps.
