My students are eager to learn and soak up knowledge. I want my students to leave my classroom with 100% mastery in the pre-k standards in literacy. My biggest challenge is limited resources. My favorite quote is "Oh The Places You'll Go!" Learning will take them places!
I will be teaching 27 pre-kindergartners this year.
This will be my second year teaching at this school. When I met some of my students at our registration kick off, they seem so happy and eager to learn. My school is re-opening under a new district because they were not meeting the needs of students and TEA requirements. The students at this school have been deprived from learning, resources, and their education. I transferred to this school because I wanted to help impact learning, and give my students the education that they deserve. My school is in a poverty stricken area. Students do not have access to up to date resources to help them learn and grow.
The resources that I have requested for my students would impact learning in literacy. At my school, literacy is one of the areas that students need more support in. The early readers, alphabet puzzles, fishing letters, and iPad will help expose students to fun, hands on learning, and updated resources. The material selected will help change the lives of my students for the better because they will have meaningful hands on experience to help improve in the emergent literacy stages. These resources will help engage students during whole group lessons, create objective driven workstations for independent learning, and will help student learning in small group intervention. All the resources selected will support learning letter recognition, uppercase letters, lowercase letters, identify letters, letter sounds, beginning sounds, writing letters, blending sounds, and incorporate technology, and so much more exposure.
Early learning is fun project will help academic success in literacy.
Your donations will help impact my students learning in across the board on pre-k standards. My students will have the resources needed to help foster a more rigorous approach to learning and engaging workstations. I want to give my students nothing less than the best with your help of making a donation to get these resources. Your donations will most definitely give my student more hope! Can you help us?
