We are twenty-one brilliant scholars attending a high-poverty, Title I elementary school. We are eager to learn and we crave the stability and routine of a healthy school environment. We are engaged in our learning and are striving to become life-long learners.
We come from many diverse backgrounds and cultures and each of us brings a unique and important perspective to our classroom.
We treasure our friendships in teamwork and work hard to build on many important social skills that will help us as we will build relationships in the future.
We need science materials and supplies in our classroom to become active scientists as early learners. We need science goggles, magnifying glasses, and science learning tubes to safely explore science in our kindergarten classroom during science lessons, science groups, and science centers
We need hands-on science materials such as a butterfly nursery to watch real caterpillars turn into butterflies in order to experience the life cycle of a butterfly first hand.
We need science experiment materials, safety goggles, five senses materials, and a microscope to look closely at science in action.
We need science discovery kits to extend our learning beyond our science lessons and to apply science concepts.
