This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a Special Education Teacher, I am always on the hunt for learning materials and curricula that reaches the many different and amazing learning styles of my students. Recently, we have started to use the "Really Great Reading, Blast" curriculum and my students have loved the hands-on and visual learning this program provides. The best part......my student's reading really did Blast-Off!
I see a renewed confidence in my students as they tackle and take on new words and use the tools they have gained from this curriculum to recognize phonemes and decode words.
I want to give this same experience to more students. The "Launchpad" curriculum from "Really Great Reading" will target younger students and provide crucial early intervention.
