Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach children with special needs ages 3 to kindergarten. My students are eager to learn and love to come to school. For most of my students, my classroom is their first experience with school. I work hard to make sure that learning is engaging and fun but also challenging and supported.

Our campus will transition into a BRAND NEW state of the art building in December 2019.

I am looking for items to help us create a welcoming, sensory-rich, inclusive, classroom.

My Project

I'm asking for help in gettings developmentally appropriate learning materials, and sensory items for my special needs students. I'm also asking for the tools needed so that I can create more learning materials, books, etc. to boost my students' success.

All of my students have disabilities of some sort.

Some of those disabilities are more profound than others. All of my students have speech and language delays. I'm asking for learning materials that will help foster the development of language skills since language is the foundation of all future academic success. I'm also asking for tools that will enable me to create custom books and learning material so that I can target the individual needs of each of my students appropriately.
