This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Teaching in a low income school means that we don't always have a budget to buy new things for our classroom. This is a project that is devoted to updating and replenishing some essential items for our classroom.

Our current puzzle storage case broke and our carpet is almost in shreds.

We would love to have some new ones to replace the old and worn ones we already have.

We are asking for the scissors because each year we see more and more students who need to work on their fine motor skills. They have trouble using regular scissors, and these scissors will build up the muscles in their hands while still letting them feel success while cutting.

We are asking for some magnetic toys to add to our learning centers because magnets are so engaging and fun!
