Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have an amazing group of third grade STEAM magnet students. We enjoy challenging each other to grow mentally, physically, and emotionally.
My students are enthusiastic, creative, focused, and enjoy a hands-on approach to learning.
They are encouraged to take responsibility for their own learning and to have a positive mindset in everything they do. It's exciting that they come to school eager to learn. My students attend a Title I school in a low-income area. The entire school participates in a free breakfast and lunch program.
My Project
It is so exciting that we have a 1:1 device program in upper grades. Every 3rd-5th grade student has a Chromebook to use in the class room. Now I need earbuds for my students to use with their Chromebooks. We use the Chromebooks for research, Google docs, language arts and math programs as well as for testing. "Prodigy" is a favorite math game that my students love to play, but the sound effects from the game can be deafening!
We need earbuds to keep my students focused and the teacher sane!
The wireless speaker I am requesting will be a great improvement over the speakers I have now. All the cords get tangled up, and it is very frustrating! Thank you for supporting my kids!
