My Students

Our class has been incredibly fortunate to have received a grant that has given us access to a class set of Chromebooks. These are going to be a great addition to our classroom. Some of the things we want to do with them require headphones. We feel that earbuds would be the perfect solution.

Our school is in a higher poverty area with about 65% of our students qualifying for free/reduced lunch.

My fourth grade class is filled with students who are curious and eager to learn. Just like any other 9-10 year olds, they are fascinated by technology. They love to learn and getting these earbuds would be a step toward helping them with that goal.

My Project

We have several apps that we will be using on the Chromebooks. A lot of these apps require sound and if I have thirty Chromebooks playing audio at the same time it's not going to be very pleasant in the room. These requested JVC earbuds will be used everyday, multiple times per day. They will be used to learn math facts, reading comprehension, and keyboarding.

These JVC earbuds will get the students to learn everything that we want them to learn.

Being able to hear the programs will change the way they learn math, reading, and keyboarding. The math program alone is going to help the become fluent in all four operations of math facts. That will help them with all of the math they will do for the rest of their lives.
