My Students

I am a computer teacher at a Title I elementary school. Our students at our school use computers and Chromebooks to do their assignments.

Many of the students say the headphones don't fit right, and the sound is not right.

They use the headphones for computer-specials and to do their assignments in the other labs, also on their Chromebooks.

The students get frustrated when it comes to technology not working right. Students try to figure out why the headphones are not working properly as I have taught them. As they go in the 21st century, they should not have to worry that their equipment is not working right. Students need to be prepared to use a variety of tools to engage their world.

My Project

Better to have good quality headphones for everyday use. Some don't fit right and they don't last. The sounds are muffled. It can disrupt their concentration and focus. This has frustrated the students.

As you know, each year the school's budget gets less and less.

This affects our students greatly. Good quality headphones for our computers can be costly.

Your donations would help in getting these so the students can focus their attention on doing better on their assignments in the computer lab and on their Chromebooks. Students shouldn't have to worry about the headphones not working. Your donation would so greatly be appreciated.
