My Students

My students are the most amazing kids you will ever meet. They have many struggles they deal with daily but it doesn't get them down. They are happy and ready to learn. We work together to reach their needs.

I have been a special education teacher for 17 years and I still love every minute of it!

My students teach me as much as I teach them or more! They are great examples of hard working, growth minded little people. I feel honored to teach these awesome individuals.

My Project

My special education students have been hit hard by the pandemic. Already having to deal with being behind they now have to try to learn with so many other factors happening. I hope the materials I have requested will give my students an environment to promote learning through quiet times to use the noise cancelling headphones to help reduce noise to help them focus better. Also, by using the headphones with microphones to help them with their speech to text to allow them to express themselves without the worry of writing it down on paper. That can be a painful task for many of my students. Thank you for your generous donation.
