This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Technology in schools has evolved so much that headsets with microphones have become a valuable learning tool. My students love to read into the headsets and hear their progress. We currently have one working headphone that is not very reliable. These headphones will allow a large group to work on reading lessons at their own pace. Imagine the joy of multiple children listening and engaging with their texts on the Chromebooks simultaneously. Each individual student can listen and focus on their education without being discouraged by ineffective headphones or waiting days to use our only set.
