Middle Schoolers here at EW are truly special. They come from all over a large city to form a small inner-city community of their own. They love the building in which they work every day and enjoy seeing their teachers and classmates.
One of the most astounding attributes of our students is that they are completely inclusive of all children who come to our school.
I have seen peers go out of their way to make sure others feel included in any activity that may be going on in our building. They work together to foster ideas and incentives during the Advisory time each morning.
I'm proud to work with the students in our building and they have earned a tremendous amount of respect from our community.
Our students are rewarded on a daily basis with Eagle Eyes through our School Wide Positive Behavior Incentive Program. They are able to spend their Eagle Eyes on incentives of their choosing.
Our Eagle Eye Express will visit lunches throughout the school year to provide opportunities for our students to spend their Eagle Eyes.
The incentives we would like to provide to our students should support their education. Pen, pencils, and sharpeners are just the basics we need to get started! Students are happy to see items they can use to help further their education and show up to their classes prepared.
