My Project
As a high school counselor, I am noticing a significant increase in student anxiety. To address this, our counseling team is aiming to create a calming space where students can regroup and return to class refreshed. This space would also be used for individual and group counseling sessions, as well as some of the items being used for classroom interventions.
Unfortunately, recent budget cuts have limited our resources.
Many of our current tools are outdated or broken, hindering our ability to provide effective support. We’re eager to create a safe and calming environment for our students, equipped with sensory items and tools to help them regulate their emotions and feel secure.
We’d love to have access to new materials, such as conversation cards, that can be used for interventions and group sessions. By investing in this space, we can better support our students’ mental health and academic success.
Our high school mascot is an Eagle so having that incorporated in the title just makes it fun.
