Here at BES, we are trying our best to help encourage our eagles to do their best in everything they do. To help encourage, initiate them, and help them understand earning and saving, we have created a shop for the kids to "buy" all types of stuff. They will earn Eagle bucks based on their hard work and all areas of school. They will earn their buck for hard work on homework, good test scores, attending school, good behavior, and much more. Once a month, every student will be able to shop at the store and spend their hard-earned bucks. As you can imagine, it is hard to keep a store like this stocked with good merchandise every month after over 500 students have shopped. All the students look forward to this every month and get excited about it. They look to see all the new stuff and become very proud that they have been able to earn the privilege of shopping.
Since we added this school store to our school this year, the students have worked noticeably harder to earn their bucks.
They look forward to shopping, and they have become proud of what they can accomplish. Our students here at BES are all wonderful children, and they work hard for what they have.
