My Students

Our school truly is the "Crown Jewel of Washington Township" and it is like no other ordinary school. view it as a small village. Our students and families speak 22 different languages and represent 20 different countries from around the world. Most of our students come from low socioeconomic backgrounds, and we have various refugee families who attend our wonderful school. The staff here are way more than teachers. We truly try and build positive relationships with all. We want them to feel loved, safe and cared for way beyond just the classroom. With this comes the challenge of my job, which in my eyes is to expose them and help them experience every sport, game, and physical activity available. My hope is that even one thing we do will spark an interest with my students that will last a lifetime and continually push them to live a long and healthy life.

My Project

With your generous contributions you will help complete our WISH list and ensure that every single one of my amazing students gets the Physical Education curriculum they deserve! Once we have complete sets of playground balls, we can continue working on our object control skills of rolling + kicking. Attaining all our ping pong balls ensures that we have ample amount for each student, and I utilize these in a variety of tossing, throwing, and team-building activities. New basketballs, tug-of-war rope, and Frisbees will help us complete our sets and we will be able to continue cooperating, and practicing our frisbee skills. My students are super excited for the pop up nets to use for target games, frisbee skills, and creative exploratory time!
