This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach a remarkable group of third graders who bring curiosity, creativity, and a deep love of learning to our classroom every day. Many of my students have limited access to books at home, which makes our classroom library a vital resource in nurturing their growth as readers and thinkers. Despite the challenges they face, they come to school eager to explore new ideas and immerse themselves in stories. Currently, our library is small and lacks the variety needed to truly reflect their diverse interests, backgrounds, and experiences. With your help, I hope to expand our collection with engaging, age-appropriate books that will inspire a lifelong love of reading.
