My Students
Technology is advancing and to survive in the "real world" students need to be up-to-date with the latest. Please provide my students with the proper tools to do so.
My students are 4th grade students that are sweet and very eager to learn.
They also come with positive attitudes and strive to do their best, as it is taught in our classrooms. Our school is very large with a student population of about 1500. We have a lot of parent/community support with classroom duties, such as xeroxing and attending field trips.
My Project
Many of my students don't have the technological tools to help them succeed in today's society. With technology advancing at a rapid pace, I feel it is vital for students to gain the experience of using these proper technological tools to be successful in the "real world". Our school is a very big school with a student enrollment of about 1500. We try to get the latest technological tools through fundraisers, but with a big school as ours, it is difficult to reach each and every classroom. My students will be using the tablet for added reading comprehension and math practice. They will also gain the knowledge of knowing how to use various technological tools out in the "real world".
Again, with technology rapidly advancing in today's society, I feel it is vital that students have the opportunity to have access to these necessary technological tools in the classroom to be successful in the "real world".
Please help us to improve our future (my students) with their reading comprehension and math by providing this Sony tablet to our classroom. It will greatly enhance their learning and basic understanding of how to use the technological tools of today's society.
