Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students consist of eager beavers with a desire to learn how to read.
Kindergarten students are like sponges.
They learn beyond any boundaries that may come their way. Motivate, inspire, introduce, and teach to watch them blast off. The growth they show both academically and socially is beyond words can explain. Watching them blossom is the biggest reward for the teacher and parents.
My Project
Pocket charts, stands, tubs, games, dry erase alphabet cards, and activities will activate learning with their peers as the teacher is at the teacher led center with each approaching level or on level group. The ready-to-use centers have an abundance of the tools needed to learn phonemic awareness, phonics, letter recognition, and much more.
Hands-on materials for up to four students at once in each center will encourage peer help learning, self-esteem, communication skills, and a sense of compassion toward others.
It will prompt the students to discuss and build vocabulary while enhancing their communication skills.
