This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I want my computer science students to have a memorable end of the year project. One unit I got professional development on was an e-textiles unit.

Through e-textiles, students can sew and code together, creating artistic pieces that incorporate their creativity with computer science.

It's a wonderful way to have students see some of the applications of computer science in realms that are outside of just laptop-based programs.

To end the year, please help me do something memorable and fun in my computer science class! I have a robotics project up as well-- I'm hoping either one will get funded so we can have a super fun end to this year.
