Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

In the heart of the 5th most diverse city in the country, is a class like no other. This group of 140-odd students have a passion for learning and applying it to real-world situations to solve today and tomorrow's issues. They are a diverse group with variant beliefs and backgrounds who come together for 45 minutes day to read and write and poor their souls out on paper. A beautiful bunch, they are always willing to learn and take opportunities as soon as they come!

My Project

These kindles will enhance an already print rich learning environment. They will assist in the enhancement of their optimal reading experience. As they are moving through an electronic world, we want to take advantage of their opportunities of technology to bring them from their current state of literacy to grade level and beyond.

This tech will provide both auditory and visual learning skill development for non and struggling readers.

It is in the best interest of the reader to seek all resources. Student will be able to grow effectively and efficiently with the assistance of these tools. It will also assist in vocabulary development as well!
